Opening Reception

The weekend kicks off on Friday evening with a mix and mingle reception for all attendees - entry is free. You’ll be able to pick up your credential for the following day and skip the lines on Saturday, and meet friends old and new in the advance world and prepare for the big day ahead.

Our main program at Howard will consist of speaking panels with breakout sessions with leaders in the advance field, guest speakers
Attendees will have the opportunity to learn what role advance plays in modern campaigns, basic advance skills applicable to any public event, examples of career paths that advance work can open doors for, and more.
Doors will open at 8:30 a.m. and the conference speaking program will start promptly at 9:30 a.m. - first rule of advance - don’t be late!
Networking Happy Hour

After the main conference is done, we’ll head right across Georgia Avenue from Howard’s campus for a closing happy hour, open to all registered attendees - we’ll have the whole place to ourselves.
